Reoccurring Membership This class is created for the family so if you have a young toddler with a preschool/pre-k age child a multiage class is for everyone to enjoy together! Our babies love it too, it's so fun interactive and learning from our toddler and preschool friends! Parent Participation Required Come have fun at an interactive music class for you and your little ones. In this class your child will get a chance to play and interact with other children in the class. You and your child will also be encouraged to sing, dance and even participate by playing along on instruments. As your child's skills progress, we add parachute play and balance activities! A fun time will be had by all during this interactive and engaging class. Older toddlers and preschool age children have exciting opportunities beyond just singing and dancing in music class. Here’s what they can expect: Identifying Sounds: Through vocal imitation, older toddlers will explore new sounds and learn to associate them with pictures. Musical Concepts: They’ll discover various instruments, from rhythm sticks to and learn how they produce sounds. Language Patterns: Songs with recognizable language patterns will help them explore rhythm, speech sounds, syntax, and rhyme. Movement and Socialization: Classes encourage more complex movement concepts, fostering interaction with peers. In addition, they’ll develop: Whole Body Strength: Muscles used for posture and balance will strengthen, enhancing alertness and self-control. Fine Motor Skills: Finger and hand muscles will get a workout, which is essential for writing skills. Cognitive Development: Repetitive songs and rhymes will improve their ability to memorize, sequence, and Objective: Social interaction/ Body awareness/ Phonological awareness
